Marewrew, the quartet of traditional Ainu singers, was featured in the NHK for School "Doutoku Document" program aimed at teaching elementary school students about social issues.
The program with Marewrew was the 17th of the series entitled "Wishes Upon Traditional Songs," and aired January 27 and February 3. The program is now available for viewing online here (unfortunately in Japanese only).
Marewrew will also be featured this week (Thursday & Friday, March 29 & 30) on the NHK E-TV program "Nihongo de Asobou" (Let's Play in Japanese) from 7:30 am to 7:40 am! Catch it if you have the chance! (Details in Japanese here)
