Ainu Speech Contest & Ainu Art at Hokkaido MOMA: February 2, 2013 +


Two exciting events in Sapporo this Saturday – first the 16th Annual Ainu Speech Contest showcasing the efforts of Ainu speakers to revive the language, and the start of the contemporary Ainu arts and crafts exhibition at the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art!

AINU ART
-Storytellers of the Wind-

The exhibition of traditional and modern Ainu Art that took place in Matsusaka, Mie will now be on display in Sapporo. Special events are also planned throughout the exhibition period.
