Exhibition of "An Ainu Portrait: Asir Rera" in Tokyo: March 27 - April 2, 2013

A quick post on an exhibition starting today of photographer Makiko Ui's "An Ainu Portrait: Asir Rera" in Tokyo. As you may know, AINU PRIDE PRODUCTIONS was involved in the English translation of the photo collection published in 2011. Details of the exhibition are as follows:

The Kurashiki Music Festival in Okayama (March 10-20) is featuring a wide array of Ainu artists and performers on March 16 and 17! A rare opportunity to see this many Ainu artists in Western Japan.

OKI and Marewrew will be joining Ryuichi Sakamoto, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and other renowned Japanese artists for the NO NUKES 2013 concert. While NO NUKES 2013 is scheduled for both March 9 and 10, OKI and Marewrew will be performing on March 9.
