August 10, 2011: Indigenous Research Group "The World of the Ainu Language"

A presentation will be given by Prof. Hiroshi Nakagawa of Chiba University, a leading expert on the Ainu language. He has written several books, most recently "The Power of Words Speaking To Each Other –The World Among the Kamuy–" published in 2010 (pictured below), and is active in supporting efforts to revive the Ainu language within the Ainu community.
