The Historical Museum of Hokkaido holds various workshops for children on a semi-monthly basis, and the one for August (which is TODAY) is apparently on using games to learn the Ainu language.
The workshops are for elementary school-aged children and space is limited to the first 30 children (plus their guardians) to make reservations. Since this is short notice, I am not sure about the availability (reservations were open from July 21), but it may be interesting for families with young children to check out.
